GURLIK is a multi-genre studio music project based in the Baltimore/Washington area. The music is an unusual combination of jazz, classical, progressive pop and other sounds. While the style is diverse, GURLIK always strives to be honest and musically interesting.

Phil Gurlik studied at several colleges eventually earning a BA in Music and Painting. He has been a member of many performing groups including a pre 2000’s alt rock group The Tunes based in Houston, TX. As an audio engineer and producer he recorded a number of indie label jazz and crossover albums which charted nationally.

Time Box is the debut release. GURLIK is already in the studio working on the next albums.
